International multimedia production studio SILA SVETA combines art and technology to transform visual solutions into inspiring experiences. For 17 years it has won more than 130 international awards and realized more than 800 projects worldwide. The main areas of the studio's work are impressive shows at events of different scales, multimedia design of musical events, art installations, immersive exhibitions and museums.
The studio's new installation is a cluster of lights, once dazzling in their brightness but now dumped in one place. They still flicker and pulsate as if clinging to life, but it is clear that their time has passed. It's not just a technique - it's a metaphor for ideas that were at their peak but have been forgotten in the pursuit of the new. Light is dead is a reaction to the endless technological race, where even the brightest ideas quickly become obsolete. The installation reminds us that it is not the number of visual techniques that matters, but the idea behind them.
