The Hoga site

The installation explores the emergence of form and, through the architecture of light, draws attention to Hoga’s Object—a rare ring galaxy. In it, the perfect ring of light is spatially separated from the central nucleus and surrounded by a region of almost complete absence of matter. Observing this system calls into question conventional notions of wholeness and the centre as a source of meaning.
